    Dorothea Gioe

    FOUNDER

    With a decade of field experience with U.S. intelligence agencies across Africa, Europe and the Middle East informs Dorothea’s understanding of geopolitical stability, protective intelligence need, and the criticality of good intelligence. She distills lessons learned from intelligence operations, military planning and business leaders to empower organizations to navigate the evolving geopolitical landscape with confidence.

    A Visiting Fellow with King’s College London’s Centre for the Study of Intelligence, Dorothea brings academic rigor and perspective to real-world intelligence and security problems. As an advisor to senior executives, Dorothea emphasizes cultivating authentic leadership that fosters a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and communication to build winning teams.

    CO-FOUNDER

    A Visiting Professor in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, having been previously appointed as a British Academy Global Professor in War Studies from 2021-2025. Before coming to KCL David was a tenured Associate Professor of History at the US Military Academy at West Point where he also served as History Fellow for the Army Cyber Institute. David is Academic Director of the Cambridge Security Initiative and is co-convener of its International Security & Intelligence programs.

    Before starting his academic career, David worked for the FBI and CIA, serving in the Middle East and in Europe. He retains his commission as a Commander in the Navy Reserve and has completed 24 years of combined active and reserve service.
